This blog was once called SheaButter Sarcasm Sunshine. But now it’s simply called Herbivore Homemaker.  Why the change? When I first started my blog on August 14th, 2017, I knew nothing about blogging but I wanted to give it a try.  I came up with a blog name that listed some of my favorite things because why not? I had a lot of varying ideas jotted down for my blog and wasn’t entirely sure what direction to take with it. In no particular order, I started sharing my thoughts and information with the internet (let’s be real though, it’s mainly been friends and family that have read my blog). 

As of the 1st of January 2018 I have been a vegan. If you asked me 12 years ago if I could see myself going vegan in the future I probably would have told you although I greatly admired vegans and the reasons behind veganism that it was not for me.  I didn’t think I could do it. People CAN change though, and I have definitely changed in more ways than one since then.  This is my own personal experience in my transition to veganism.
